    | Tactical Success, Strategic Failure? Washington Walks the
    | Path to Defeat in Iran
    |
    | Six weeks after the United States and Israel launched a war
    | against Iran, what was the political object? Not the
    | military means and objectives -- those are the hammer, not
    | the nail. The nail is: What condition in the world, what
    | durable change in Iran's relationship to the United States
    | and its neighbors, were these strikes meant to produce?
    | That question was never answered, because it was never
    | seriously asked. The Trump administration confused the
    | instrument for the purpose and then changed the purpose
    | whenever the instrument produced inconvenient results.

A lot of this claims that because Trump varied his responses that he
didn't know what he was up to? Have you ever considered that he didn't
really want to tell people what he was doing and very well may have had
a strong concrete plan? Why do you TDS always act like you can read
Trump's mind from his actions and words? I swear these journalists write
it like they know exactly what he's thinking from what he's doing, and
    it's just not that simple.

Hell yeah Ali Khamenei is dead! The 47 year dictator finally fell. Iran
has new leadership! Khamenei was so anti-US he probably told bin Laden
    to hit the twin towers.

    So much winning!

    +1

Can't they see how Russia was stymied by Ukraine? I thought Trump had
learned this lesson but apparently not. These lesser militaries are not dwarved by US power but are just somewhat shorter. Underestimating them
is the worst mistake a power can make today.
