According to the Kennebec Journal, 47-year-old Natasha Venable was sentenced on Thursday.

Venable reportedly pleaded guilty to 22 charges, including for gross sexual assault of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor.

Officials say Venable assaulted the child on an almost daily basis between 2020 and 2022.

Once released from prison, the Kennebec Journal report Venable is to remain under supervision for the rest of their life.

AUGUSTA (WGME) - A Monmouth resident was sentenced to 40 years after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting a child.

According to the Kennebec Journal, 47-year-old Natasha Venable was sentenced on Thursday.

Venable reportedly pleaded guilty to 22 charges, including for gross sexual assault of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor.

Officials say Venable assaulted the child on an almost daily basis between 2020 and 2022.

Once released from prison, the Kennebec Journal report Venable is to remain under supervision for the rest of their life.

According to the Kennebec Journal, Venable claimed to not remember committing the acts but said if the accuser said Venable did, then Venable did it and
was guilty.
