Even giving the insane prop-up of the oil industry (and coal
industry), the Trump administration's hostility to wind, solar,
and electric vehicies is just another illustration of the extreme
stupidity of Trump and the "Republicans".
Both systems (oil vs renewables) can co-exist.
Just think of how many homeless could be housed or even just sleep on
the land those wind turbines take. They take a whole lot of land and
don't really produce very much power. Solar is way better than wind energy.
