RAC Representative on DX Advisory Committee

The DX Advisory Committee (DXAC) is a group of DXers appointed by the Amer
ican Radio Relay League's Divisions in the United States and by the Board
of Directors of Radio Amateurs of Canada here in Canada.
As the RAC representative, I have been meeting with the DXAC representat
ives every three weeks or so via Zoom for about a year as we are doing a c omplete review of the DXCC rules.
There are a few items of concern to DXers such as the number of countries/ entities required to make Honour Roll. At present, the rule is that to m
ake the Honour Roll you must have been credited with a number of entities
within the Top 10 possible.
For example, at present there are 340 entities on the DXAC list so the H
onour Roll means at least 331 credited entities.
I would like to hear your opinions so that I can provide the views of Cana
dian Amateurs to the committee. Please tell me:тАитАи
Should the number of such entities be reduced? If so, how far?
* 300
* 315
* 325

I would appreciate it if you would send your comments and thoughts to me a
t
ve1js@myrac.ca (mailto:
ve1js@myrac.ca) as soon as possible. Please feel
free to share with your friends.
BTW if you have any questions at all about DXing, DXCC Rules or the DXAC
please ask!
